Tom graduated from Boston University in 1980 receiving his degree in physical therapy. He began his career at MGH working in a variety of settings including treatment of players from the Bruins, Patriots and Olympic team. After practicing for a few years, Tom developed a passion for outpatient orthopedics and opened his own independent practice. After over 40 years, Tom retired and joined Live Free Physical Therapy taking a per diem role in the clinic.

He specializes in hands-on treatment with a focus on patient education and their involvement in the rehabilitation process. Throughout the years, Tom has taken many continuing education courses to stay up-to-date with the latest treatments.
